So… I pretty much use this recipe all the time when i’ve been on the lash and have a stinking hangover, it in my eyes is the mother of all cures. You know it will work think back to all those old cowboy films and other shows where the cure is always tomato juice a raw egg and tabasco or some form of that. Weeeeeeellllll this is that but cooked and it tastes megggga!
Trust me it work and its easy to cook, okay let me convince you some more, go get a bottle of gin or wine or cans of beer, got it? Okay now drink it, keep going until you’ve had a good night and are drunk (NB. maybe do this Friday or Saturday). Right now you are successfully hungover lets get to it! See below…
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Tin of Chopped tomatos
- Red Pepper
- Coriander (hand full)
- Small onion (shallot pref)
- Smoked paprika
- Garlic clove
- Hot sauce
- Egg or two
- Salt and pepper
- Small frying pan or sauce pan – something small enough to eat out of, where we are going we don’t need plates Marty.
Okay so this one is super super easy seen as your hungover and all it needs to be right?
-Heat up the pan and oil, chop up the onion, pepper, garlic and half the coriander then put into the pan to fry for a couple of minutes.
-Once the onions start to char a little chuck in the tommies, smoked paprika, salt and pepper and bring to the boil.
-Next when all that has started to bubble make a tablespoon size well(s) in the middle and crack your egg(s) on to the well(s).
-Give this about 4 minutes and then pop a cover(lid) for the last minute or so until solid on top but still wiggly in the middle.
-All you need to do now is take the pan of the heat put it on a board or plate to cool and get yourself some crusty buttery bread or toast smash over that hot sauce and extra coriander and dip the heck in! Its going to kick that hangover in the ass and you are going to be in flavour country, enjoy! Sorry about the hangover, deal with it you wimp.
