This is a me of those dishes that once mastered you want to do over and over again!
Ingredients
- 1 carrot diced
- 1 onion diced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp gram masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- Plain flour
- 1 tsp butter
- Veg stock cube
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Noodles of your choice
- Pork chop
- Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg (beaten)
Method
- In a medium heat pan put a drizzle of oil and the butter, then fry the onion and carrot until just catching.
- Add the flour to the pan stir in until combined and then add all the spices. Add 300ml of water, stir bringing to a rolling boil and cook for 10 minutes adding extra water if needed.
- Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Take the pork chop, put between two pieces of cling film and flatten with a rolling pin. Cover in the flour, then the egg and finally in the Panko.
- In a pan add a centimetre of oil, then fry the chop on both sides for 3 minutes each.
- Finally boil your noodles and combine everything together. Top with doing onion and crispy onions if you have them.
